An American director and writer, born in Montana, USA, as the second of four children. He studied cinema and photography. He met his wife at university, and after graduation, they left Montana and joined the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles, California. He directed a number of music videos. He's known for Red Rock West (1993) and Rounders (1998).
