A Finnish writer, producer, and director, born on December 16, 1972, in Espoo, Finland. He graduated from the Park School of Communication at Ithaca College with a degree in Film Production and Sociology. He is known for Mapplethorpe (2018) and The 33 (2015). He wrote two screenplays for Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone. In 2018, Alanne was named one of Variety's "10 Global Creatives to Watch". He is the first Finnish member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS).
