An American production designer and director born on December 19, 1945 in Canton, Illinois in the United States. His most important works are There Will Be Blood (2007), The Tree of Life (2011), The Revenant (2017), and The Master (2012). He married actress Sissy Spacek in 1974, and they had two children - director Artistic Madison Fisk and actress Schuyler Fisk. He was nominated for an Oscar for The Revenant and There Will Be Blood.
