An American author, producer, and actor, born on March 22, 1947, Newburgh, New York. He has written many literary works, thrillers and fantasy novels, including: Women's Murder Club novel series, and the NYPD Red novel series. His first work to be adapted into a film was Child of Darkness, Child of Light (1991), which was based on his novel Virgin. Among his other notable work are the films Kiss the Girls, Maximum Ride, and Along Came a Spider (2000) He participated as an actor in the series The Simpsons, and Castle.
