An Egyptian writer, he studied political science and has written several dramas and radio works. He wrote the radio series Suez Dreams, Diary of a Revolutionary Officer, and the sitcom Bastawisy Family. Tohamy has also published several books, such as "Heropolis" and "Chinese Youth".
