American writer, director, producer, and composer born on 17 July 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US. He attended Stanford University, majoring and film and journalism as well as Princeton University, majoring in creative writing. He wrote several children's books including "The Cat Who Lived with Anne Frank". His most notable work is award-winning film Archie's Final Project (2009), also known as My Suicide. Other works include Breakfast of Aliens (1993).
