An American actress, born December 8, 1993 in Denver, Colorado. She was exceptional from a young age, she competed in gymnastics and dancing for four and a half years but stopped to focus on being an actress. Her first screen appearance in a McDonald's commercial. Then a small role in the outstanding TV movie Samantha: An American Girl Holiday 2004, which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Movie. She rose to fame after her performance in the 2005 film Because of Winn-Dixie and starred in the 2013 TV series The Carrie Diaries. She has won numerous awards including Rising Artist Award at the Denver Film Festival.
