An American actress, born September 18, 1949 in Alabama. She began her acting career in 1979. She is a graduate of East Carolina University and is one of Hollywood's most recognizable faces. She has starred in more than seventy feature films including this Academy Award for Best Picture for Little Miss Sunshine (2006). She has appeared in dozens of films, including three Best Picture Oscars: Rain Man; the speed; Long Fu and thanks for everything. She has also appeared on numerous grants and television shows, including Everwood, Delta, Golden girls and starred in the third season of the popular comedy series Couples.
