A director and producer, born in London, England, United Kingdom in 1969. He studied philosophy at University College London. Loach achieved huge success in the British documentary series World in Action, then he turned to work on a larger scale on television series, most notably Shameless (2008), and Hotel Babylon (2009). His film debut was Oranges and Sunshine (2010). His notable work includes the film Measure of a Man (2018), as well as the series Tin Star (2017-2020), and Save Me (2020).
