She is an American singer-songwriter, author, multi-instrumentalist, and actress. She was born on January 19, 1946. She is known for her work in country music. She has authored over 3,000 songs, the most famous of which include I Will Always Love You. As an actress, she has starred in the films The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Unlikely Angel, and Joyful Noise. Dolly Parton is also one of the best-selling artists of all time. She is known as the "Queen of Country Music".
