She is an American actress, born and raised in Manchester, Massachusetts. She started auditioning at the age of 5. She graduated from Barnard College after majoring in American Studies, and later worked as a member of the Drama Department in New York City. She had several roles on theatre, cinema and television, most notably Paranormal Activity.
