An American producer and screenwriter, born and raised in Manhattan, New York, USA. He attended the Fieldston School in New York City, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied history. He started his writing career in the mid-nineties by writing a number of episodes for several TV series. He married Darcy Steinhart in 1996, and they have two children. Among his works are Perry Mason, The Knick, and Sin City Saints.
