Grigori Israilevich Ofshtein was a Russian writer and actor, born on March 12, 1940 in Moscow. He is best known for he movies 100 grams dlya khrabrosti, Barkhatnyy sezon, and Legend No. 17, in addition to the play The Virtuous Garbage. He died on June 15, 2000 in Moscow.
