A British guitarist, producer, songwriter, singer, and actor, who was a member of the Beatles. He was born in Liverpool, Merseyside, England, United Kingdom. He won an Oscar with the Beatles in 1971 for Best Music, Original Song Score for the movie Let It Be (1970). His credits include A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Yellow Submarine, and Kubo and the Two Strings. He passed away on November 29, 2001 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
