She was born on November 29, 1977 in Tehran, Iran. She obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting. She has two younger sisters. Upon graduation, she decided to study acting. Her upbringing within an art-loving family had an impact on her artistic career, which she started at the age of seven, as her father worked in the theatrical field, which, in turn, helped her become one of the stars of the Iranian screen. She participated in many series, some of which were broadcast outside Iran, such as Passenger from India.
