A German actress, screenwriter and film director, born in Dortmund, Germany. She studied at the University of Television and Film until 2000. She worked as a freelance collaborator for Bavaria-Film and served as an assistant director on several international productions. In 2002, she directed the TV comedy Alles betürkt!. Her first feature film was Almanya: Welcome to Germany (2011).
