An Iranian actor and writer, born in Tehran. He began his career on stage in the 1970s, then moved to television and cinema. He appeared in several works, most notably the series Roozi Roozegari (1991), the series Until Morning (2008), and the series Al-Mukhtar Al-Thaqafi (2010). He won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film Canary Yellow (1989).
