An American actress, born in Topeka, Kansas, USA on November 3, 1930. She studied acting at Juilliard School. She began her career with the series Love of Life (1951), and her first movie was East of Eden (1955), after which she influenced international cinema with many works, most notably the movie Twister (1996).
