An Australian director and writer, born in Wellington, New Zealand. He went to live in Australia when he was two years old and graduated from Swinburne Film School in Melbourne in 1988. The film Chopper (2000) was his debut feature film as director and writer, while his notable works include Killing Them Softly (2012).
