A producer and director, born in Chicago, USA, in 1965. He was nominated three times for an Academy Award for Best Picture for the films Mystic River (2003), Letters From Iwo Jima (2006), and American Sniper (2014). In 2012, Robert directed his first film, Trouble with the Curve. He also directed The Marksman (2021). Robert Lorenz has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 1993, and the Producers Guild of America since 2005.
