Maryam Boubani was born in 1953 in Sanandaj, Iran. She studied acting in open acting classes. She began her film career in 1996 by starring in the movie The Fifth Chapter. Among the most prominent series she has participated in are: Setayesh, and Mukhtar al-Thaqafi. Her films include: A Piece of Bread, Mahya, and Without Farewell.
