A Turkish actor, writer, producer, and director, born on January 1, 1936 in Kocaeli, Turkey. He graduated from Haydarpaşa High School Istanbul and studied English at Istanbul University as well as language, philosophy, psychology, and art history. In 1956, he worked on theatre on both state theatre and private stages. He is known for his works in film and television, including Akrebin yolculugu, Sellâle, The Edge of Heaven, and Ezel. He passed away on September 27, 2013 aged 77 in Istanbul, Turkey.
