An Egyptian Jewish composer and singer, who gained fame in the 1920s. He composed songs and sang with Muneera Al Mahdiya and Badia Masabni. He was the father of Layla Mourad and Mounir Mourad. He worked as the business manager of his daughter and encouraged her to sing. He died in the late 1940s.
