A British author, producer and director, born in 1967.He was educated at Oxford University and then graduated from the Art Institute in Bournemouth. He received many awards in 2009, including: the Academy Award for Best Screenplay for the movie (Slumdog Millionaire), the Golden Globe Award and the BAFTA Award. Among his most important works: Everest, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Slumdog Millionaire.
