Peter Ramsey is a director, born in Los Angeles, California, United States on December 23, 1962, as Peter A. Ramsey. Peter graduated from Palisades High School. He enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles. His most famous roles are in Minority Report (2002), The Core (2003), Rise of the Guardians (2012), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), and We the People (2021). Ramsey is the first African-American director to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Film in 2019.
