American actress and screenwriter, born on March 31, 1945 in New York City. Her father is actor Joseph Curtin, and her cousin is actress Jane Curtin. She got married to Barry Levinson. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for And Justice for All (1979). Among her works are Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974), and Maxie (1985).
