An Egyptian cinematographer, born to screenwriter Mohammed El Basousy and radio presenter Dalal Al Shater. He appeared as a child in A Woman Paying the Price (1993), produced by his grandmother, the late singer Faten Farid. He worked as a cinematographer in Off Limits (2017).
