American actress and singer, born on November 20, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She was born to immigrant parents from Italy. She became famous in the field of stand-up comedy in the 1940s, and later joined the troupe of Spike Jones. She is best known for Cinderella (1957), Freaky Friday (1976), and Eternity (1990). She died on January 21, 2019 in Rancho Mirage, California, USA.
