Sally El Hosaini is a Welsh screenwriter and director of Egyptian origin. She was born in 1976 in Swansea, United Kingdom. She worked in many fields such as production, writing and acting, and specialized in directing, starting with the short movies The Fifth Bowl (2008) and Henna Night (2009), followed by her first feature film My Brother the Devil (2012).
