An Iraqi playwright, born in Baghdad in 1939, and graduated from the The Baghdad College of Fine Arts in 1969. He debuted with the play The Moss (1962). He wrote the play The Flood (1966), the series The Eagle and the Eyes of the City (1983), as well as the movie The Walls (1979).
