He is an Egyptian director who started his career as a screenwriter in the animated series "Wuzz Wuzz". He directed several documentaries and short films, including Chiffon (2011), and I Am Asser (2011). He became known for directing the series, Heba the Crow's Leg (2014-2017), and the comedy show Good Evening.
