A young Egyptian director and screenwriter, born in 1986, El-Mahalla El-Kubra. He studied business administration at Tanta University. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he decided to study film directing at the Academy of Arts and Technology. He won the award for the best short fiction film from the Arab Spring competition at the 2011 Rotterdam Festival in the Netherlands, about his first movie, Spark.
