A Canadian actress, producer, and writer of Chinese descent, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was a former Miss Hong Kong first runner-up in 1991. She obtained a law degree from the University of Hong Kong. Her works include Chungking Express, Bridge of Dragons, and The Doll Life.
