An American actor, director, and writer, born in Warren, Ohio, United States. He graduated from Yale University. He later became a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. He studied drama at the HB Studio in Greenwich Village. His works include The Muppet Movie, Short Circuit, and My Cousin Vinny.
