José Mota is a Spanish actor, writer and director, born June 30, 1965. He was in a comic duo "Cruz y Raya" with Juan Muñoz between 1989-2007. He decided to go solo after that, and his debut as an actor was in Pero ¿esto que es? (1989). His works include Operación: And the Andarán (2016), Abierto por vacaciones (1993), and Historias de Alcafrán (2020). He is married to actress Patricia Rivas and they have 2 children.
