A Romanian-German actress, born in Bucharest, Romania. She moved to Germany with her family at the age of four, and after graduating from a French high school, studied acting at the Charlottenburg Theater Workshop from 1997 to 2000. Her most notable works include Geostorm (2017), The Reader (2008), Rush (2013), and Downfall (2004), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
