A Scottish actor and producer, born in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. He traveled to London at the age of 17 to study at the Central Institute of Speech and Drama, but he didn't complete his studies due to shortage of funds and went back to Scotland. After a short period, he returned to London to complete his studies. His works include Braveheart, Doomsday, Wanted, and Cowboys & Aliens.
