German writer born in Stuttgart in 1960. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1983. He spent years playing for a band named "Frankly Scarlet" then left it in favor of writing his first novel "Spandau Phoenix" published in 1993. He also wrote the novel "24 Hours" which he adapted into the film Trapped (2002).
