A Saudi playwright and television writer, who was one of the first writers for television and theater in Saudi Arabia. He joined the Scientific Institute with the encouragement of his father, then left it after his father’s death to join the Health Institute in Safwa. After graduating, he entered into a number of government jobs in Medina, Al-Ahsa, and Dammam, most notably as the head of the municipality of Dammam and Dhahran. He held the position of Director of Administration, then Head of the Theater Department, then Director of Activities, and then Director of Production. His credits include the play Drugs and Real Estate, in addition to the series Sour Sweet (1995). He died on January 27, 2006.
