American actress, singer, and comedian born on 1 December 1945 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has won several awards including Golden Globes, Emmys, Grammys, and Tonys. She made her film debut on The Rose (1979). Her other notable works include The First Wives Club (1996), Hocus Pocus (1993), and Ruthless People (1986). She married Martin von Haselberg and they have one daughter.
