An Egyptian actor who was born in Qalyubia to an engineer father and a doctor mother. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Ain Shams University in 1979, then joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts and graduated in 1983. He participated in many television series, including The Prisoner, There is a Man in our House, And the Nile Is Still Flowing, and The Time of Emad Al-Din. He also participated in the theater in a number of plays, including Gypsy, and Visa.
