• A Syrian actor of Palestinian origins, born in Haifa in 1939. He immigrated with his family to Syria in the year of the Nakba in 1948. He owned a rich library containing more than...Read more six thousand books on literature, heritage, and politics. In 1963, he began as a broadcaster on the Voice of Palestine Radio from Damascus. After that, he moved to work in the Broadcasters Division at the General Organization of Radio and TV. Only a few years passed until he became the chief broadcaster in Damascus, and during this period, he began working in the Drama Department as an actor, producer of cultural and literary programs, writer of radio dramas, and radio director. Some of his radio credits include Green Flame, Remains of Pictures, and Blood Wedding. He died on 17 October 1986.
