Shawn Slovo is a writer and producer, born in South Africa in 1950. She is the daughter of South African Communist Party leader Joe Slovo. Her notable works include Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001), Catch a Fire (2006), and Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (2013).
