He is an Egyptian TV presenter and actor who was born on 5/9/1937 in El-Zaytoun, Cairo. He obtained a BA of Arts, Department of Arabic Language in May 1958, and a diploma in media from the "Radio and Television" department in 1974 from Cairo University. He became a general manager of music and lyrical planning in 1991. He appeared in the film Star of the East (1999).
