American film producer, born November 30, 1962 in New York City to a Jewish family and was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She attended the Peter Stark Producing Program of the University of Southern California and became known as a producer since 1988. She's known for The Hateful Eight (2015), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Django Unchained (2012).
