She is an Egyptian author, journalist, and actress who was born on December 31 in Cairo. She studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing as well as the Faculty of Arts, English Department. She received the Best Freelance Writer Award at the International Literature Festival in London. She appeared in the movie Days of Sadat (2001).
