Belgian singer, writer, and actor, born in Belgium. He was raised in Belgium, Switzerland, and England, and attended Oxford University in England on an academic scholarship. His mother was born in Russia and worked as a school principal in Belgium, and his father, Henry Bauchau, was a writer and psychoanalyst who served as an officer in the Belgian underground during World War II. He is known for Panic Room (2002), A View to a Kill (1985), and Carnivàle (2003-2005).
