An American producer and director, born in California, USA, on March 21, 1956. Her first credit was in the TV documentary film The Bat, the Cat, and the Penguin (1992). She is best known for Heathers (1988), Little Women (2019), and Ed Wood (1994). She has worked with Winona Ryder, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Johnny Depp, and Sarah Jessica Park.
