British director and cinematographer, born in Kington, England. He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers. Chris began his career in the 1960s, working as a camera operator for documentary films. He worked on the film Poor Cow, by the director Ken Loach. His first film with the director, Stephen Frears was Gumshoe (1971).
