Romanian film and theater actress, born in Iași, Romania. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Acting, at Babeș-Bolyai University, then joined the National Theatre Bucharest in Romania. She began her artistic career in cinema with the movie Beyond the Hills (2012), for which she won the Best Actress Award at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. She is known for Grain (2017), Hawaii (2017), Guests in the Villa (2020) and Thou Shalt Not Kill (2018).
